NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON RULES OF THE GUADALUPE COUNTY
GROUNDWATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT
The Guadalupe County Groundwater Conservation District will hold a public hearing to receive public input on proposed amendments to the District’s rules regarding assessment of production fees based on the amount of water authorized by permit to be withdrawn from a well, the amount actually withdrawn, or some combination thereof, or based on productive capacity of existing wells; assessment of export fees and fees for administrative acts of the District; the deadline for filing and other procedures and requirements regarding permit applications for historic use claims, permit terms, rulemaking hearing procedures, permit evaluation criteria, enforcement and invalidation of permits for noncompliance with rules, payment of fees, and permit amendment requirements. This hearing will be held at the District office at 210 East Live Oak Street, Seguin, Texas, at 4:30 p.m. on October 14, 2010.
