Drought
Drought is generally defined as a deficiency of precipitation over an extended period of time (usually a season or more), resulting in a water shortage.
Drought’s effects also vary from region to region. Due to climatic differences, what might be considered a drought in one part of the country may not be a drought somewhere else. Reducing the amount of water you consume during these extreme times is very important to ensure available water for everyone.
